Our VSO Base Sounder Beacon combines LED technology with our latest EN54-3 approved conventional platform sounder. It is available in either 32 tone or 4 tone and a choice of clear, red, amber or blue lens.

With its unique lens design providing 360° visibility, and a flash rate of once per second, it is ideally suited for applications where sounders alone may not be sufficient to raise an alarm. These applications include factories, machine rooms, workshops and areas where there may be people who are hearing impaired, such as offices and public buildings.

The use of high intensity red LED’s makes this product more reliable and longer lasting than xenon beacons. The clear lens utilises a red LED, and the red, amber and blue use custom LED’s that are optimised for maximum light output for each lens colour choice.

It can be used with or without a detector and is compatible with all leading brands of conventional fire detectors. A locking cover plate is available if a detector is not being used.
