Cranford Controls are pleased to announce that Nick Hirst has with effect from the 1st January been promoted to Business Development/Technical Director.

Since joining the company in 2007 as Business Development Manager, Nick has been working on new products and designs as well as supporting all manufacturing and technical activities of the company. Nick moved to Cranford in 2007 from a successful position as European sales manager for a leading UK electronics supplier.

Nick’s nineteen and half years experience in the electronics industry including engineering, design and technical sales has enabled him to bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to the company. Nick is focusing his attention on business growth and new product design and working with a number of key partners in Cranford’s ongoing product development activities.

Suzanne Stockwell, Cranford Controls MD, says that Nick’s skills and drive is an important asset to the company, and will enable us to continue to move forward and further develop our standing within the fire and security market.
